Black Sheep Projects.
Our mission is to give emerging artists at RISD the opportunity to present new work in an alternative space in downtown Providence, RI. The projects for each show will be selected by a guest juror from the contemporary art world. If you like our idea and want to support us without submitting to our shows you can do that below. Any amount helps!
We're about creating an opportunity for you to stand out for having excellent ideas.

How does it work?
It starts with an open call for submissions.
Just good ideas.
Submission fee is a flat $10.
That buys you one 300 word proposal and up to 4 images.
When you're selected we'll contact you.
You will have the space until the end of May.
On opening night we will host a big party.
Show specs:

Juror: Maya Allison, director of Pixilerations and currently curating projects with emerging artists here.
Where does the cash go?
Straight into supporting the space to show your work.
Rent, catering, gallery monitors, supplies.
20% commision to sustain Black Sheep Projects
80% for you, the artist

Submissions are open to all media and types of work and ideas for installations, objects, groups shows, etc.
We will be accepting submissions online.
